SHAWNEE- The Sooner Athletic Conference has released their selections for the SAC All-Conference teams, and the Cavaliers landed three student-athletes on the squad. Courtney Murphy (SR/Tulsa, Okla.) was selected second team All-SAC, while Sunny Clark (JR/Dublin, Texas) and Kayley Davis (SO/Irving, Texas) were each honorable mention selections.
Murphy finished the season with 192 kills, which was third best on the Cavs roster. She was one of the nations top blockers at the net as she finished No. 29 in blocks per game (1.08) and No. 42 in total blocks with 118.
Sunny Clark led the Cavs in assists (477) and aces (69). Clark's 69 aces was seventh best in the NAIA in 2017.
Kayley Davis led the Cavs in digs with 512, and she second on the team in aces with 39.
Unforunately, all of the St. Gregory's student-athletes will be moving on to new schools, due to the recent news of SGU shutting down at the end of the Fall 2017 semester.
